Teesside Studio Hire would be delighted to organise support services for your hire period. If you need models, make-up artists, hair stylists, wardrobe stylists or even a catering and taxi service, please contact us to discuss details.

How Do I Book?

Give us a call to check availability and secure your booking. Bookings are made on a first-come first-served basis. You will be required to complete documentation and abide by our terms and conditions.

Can I Make A Regular Booking?

Yes! Some of our clients book weekly or monthly slots to host classes such as camera clubs and model nights. We also have businesses that use the space fortnightly for client meetings. We offer a preferential rate for multiple bookings.

Can I Use My Own Lights and Equipment?

Yes! You can hire the space only. We do ask that all electrical equipment must be PAT tested.

Can I Bring Clients?

Yes! But as a business you must hold your own public liability insurance. If you are conducting TFP sessions and sharing the cost equally, you must use the premises and equipment at your own risk.

Do I Have To Be A Photographer?

No! Any business or individual is welcome to hire the space for usage.

Will There Be A Member Of Staff On-Site

Yes! A member of our team will always be present to offer you technical support and answer any queries. Our staff are DBS checked and are qualified first-aiders. We will most importantly give you the privacy you require.

What About Health and Safety?

All equipment on site is PAT tested. You will be required to complete a Health and Safety briefing on your arrival. CCTV is used on site for your security. Fire extinguishers, floor signs and first aid supplies are in position.

What Is The Access To The Studio?

One large step is required to access the premises and one further large step into the studio facilities. The office, toilet and meeting room are up one flight of stairs. No lift is available.

Do You Have On-Site Car Parking?

Yes! We have free gated parking available on private land belonging to the studio.

Do You Offer Catering Facilities

We have a small kitchen with a fridge and microwave. We can offer full catering for you and your guests with prior agreement and additional charge.

Can I Visit The Studio Before Booking?

Yes! You are more than welcome to visit us prior to booking. All bookings are by appointment only as we offer our customers privacy and exclusive use. Please contact us to arrange a viewing.

My Booking May Overrun or I Am Running Late

We will do our best to accommodate any shoots that might run outside of the booked times. This may not be possible at busier times. A late arrival or a shoot that overruns will incur additional studio hire fees for any hour or part of that your shoot overruns charged at the hourly rate.

Can I Arrive Early To Set Up?

Yes! We can allow access to the premises 15 minutes prior to your booking time to allow you to settle in and be prepared. During this time we will also conduct your health and safety briefing. Please let us know if you think you will need additional preparation time or that your shoot may overrun. Please note that additional time will incur a charge at the hourly rate and is subject to studio availability.

Is Smoking Permitted On The Premises?

No, for the comfort and safety of all clients, Teesside Studio Hire is a smoke free premises and grounds.

Can I Photograph or Film Pornographic Content?

No. We do not allow any photography or filming of pornographic content. Partial or implied nudity in a fine-art, fashion or tasteful manner is permitted.

I Have Never Used A Studio Before; Can You Help?

Yes! You may benefit from one of our training packages. Call us so we can discuss your level of understanding to create a bespoke training package for you.

Training

Our photography team have vast wedding and portraiture experience and are able to train, mentor or coach aspiring professional photographers or beginners. The team have worked internationally, shooting weddings in Lake Garda, photographing fashion weeks in London, Paris and Barcelona and images spanning multiple magazine covers and editorials.

  • Experience teaching both beginners and experienced photographers
